What is Breast Reduction ?

It is the cosmetic surgery done to remove extra fat, muscle, or skin from your breast region. People with large breasts usually opt for this surgery because of the chronic back pain, neck pain, and posture troubles that result. The surgery can also be performed in men suffering from gynecomastia. Based on the goal you are going for, the procedure can either be partial, complete, or reconstructive. Diagnostic tests like mammograms and breast examinations will be done before planning the surgery. Breast reduction can also be done to remove pathologies like cysts, tumors, and/or lumps.

What is Hysterectomy?

A hysterectomy is the surgical removal of the uterus, and most likely, the cervix. Depending on the reason for the surgery, a hysterectomy may involve removing surrounding organs and tissues, such as the fallopian tubes and ovaries. The uterus is where a baby grows during pregnancy. It’s lining is the blood you shed during your menstrual period. You lose the ability to get pregnant and you will not get your period after a hysterectomy.
