What is Neuro Developmental Disabilities ?

They are a group of disabilities associated with the functioning of brain. Usually while developmental, abnormal brain activity or anatomical presentation may lead to these disabilities. They can be either mild and dormant, showing up only once in a while as a result to triggers, or can be severe impairments effecting an individual’s daily life. The signs and symptoms usually show up at a young age making it easier for a life-long prescription against the symptoms. Some of the most common neuro-developmental disorders are schizophrenia (multiple personality disorder), ADHD, autism, speech and language disorders and more. The causes may be anything from genetic mutations to abnormal birth weight, pre-mature birth, toxic medication and /or trauma.

  • Did when they were healthy. Hemodialysis helps control blood pressure and balance.
  • Important minerals, such as potassium, sodium, and calcium, in your blood.
  • Hemodialysis can help you feel better and live longer, but it’s not a cure for kidney failure.
  • You may be able to do hemodialysis at home. Normally, hemodialysis begins well before your kidneys have shut down to the point of causing life-threatening complications.

  • The condition will be assessed with a few tests or exercises and the severity understood. The treatment ranges from precautions, prevention, symptom inhabitance, medication and surgery.
  • Precaution – patients will be put on community rehabilitation programs where they can learn to grow and mingle with the community keeping in mind their condition.
  • Triggers like emotional triggers, adverse medication, environmental triggers and heavy exertion must be avoided.
  • Depending on the condition, medication like anti-epileptics, anti-schizoprenia drugs, anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medication may be prescribed.
  • If the cause is due to any anatomical abnormality or trauma to head, the condition will be corrected surgically.
